The Hanging Gardens in Mumbai, which are also known as Pherozeshah Mehta Gardens, are terraced gardens located on top of Malabar Hill in this capital city of the west Indian state of Maharashtra.This hanging garden was designed in 1881 by Ulhas Ghapokar and the structure was planned and laid out over Mumbai (then Bombay)’s main reservoir, so that it is protected from pollution due to activities in surrounding areas.
